Saskatchewan drivers faced terrible highway conditions due to extreme blowing snow Wednesday evening.
After most of the province had been placed under a blowing snow advisory, RCMP asked drivers to avoid travel in Saskatoon, Blaine Lake, Shellbrook, Big River, Canwood and Prince Albert.
A release from RCMP reads "the high winds are creating blowing snow and whiteout conditions along with finger drifts across the highways."
